M -- OPERATION OF JOB CORPS CENTERS Sol RFP No. IX-95-55, IX-95-56, IX-95-57, POC Contracting Officer: Jack Krois. Subject to funding limitations, RFP's will be issued, for operations of the Inland Empire Job Corps Center California, Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center Nevada, and Hawaii Job Corps Center Hawaii, during the period July 1, 1995 to June 30, 1996. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth, between ages of 16-24. Contractors will be expected to manage and operate a Government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, and provision of health services. All activities will be in compliance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations, policies and handbooks. Actual issuances of CBD Notices will be followed by pre-proposal conference and walk-throughs. Those responding affirmatively to this notice, through a written request to the Contracting Officer, will be sent a copy of the solicitation, 15 days after publication of the CBD notice. (276)
