to the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (pages 3005-3011). 6.
Description of content: An amendment to Canada Motor Safety Vehicle
Standard (CMVSS) 105 (Hydraulic brake systems) and CMVSS 121 (Air brake
systems) is proposed to introduce requirements for automatic brake
adjusters and adjustment indicators, and to specify conditions of brake
adjustment during compliance tests. The amendment will harmonize the
two regulations with the United States FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle
Safety Standard) 105 and FMVSS 121. 7. Objective and rationale:
