the requirements, it has been determined that the EPA Labor Services
and Warehouse Operations Support shall be consolidated and reflect a
single contract award, based upon a 100% small business set-aside. EPA
has program responsibility for operating and maintaining (11)
facilities comprising over 1.43 million square feet of space located in
the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Contractor support is required
within this areas of responsibility in providing various skilled
warehouse operations and related labor support services which includes
operation of EPA's warehouse facility, (e.g. shipping, receiving,
storage (on-site and off-site)), moving and relocation services, and
ancillary labor services including minor building maintenance and
repair, and recycling services. On limited occassions, EPA may require
that the contractor provide these various services within a 100 mile
radius of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, in addition to the
eleven (11) EPA facilities. The anticipated contract will be a fixed
rate, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type with a twelve month
base period, and four (4) - twelve (12) month option periods. EPA
estimates that the consolidated warehouse operations and labor services
requirement represents approximately 117,326 hours per contract period,
or a maximum total of approximately 586,630 hours. Copies of the
solicitation as revised should be available in late October, 1995.
Contract award in anticipated in April, 1996. The SIC Code has also
been changed to reflect 4225, General Warehousing and Storage, with an
applicable size standard of $18.5M. Interested parties who previously
requested copies of the solicitation need not respond, and will be
retained on a consolidated mailing list for RFP distribution. All
requests for the solicitation shall be in writing, and shall request
RFP 500002-A2. Telephone and facimile requests for the RFP will not be
