The Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB 149-0065 for the re-roofing of institutional buildings at the Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to perform all work required to remove and dispose of all existing roofing debris, metal flashing and insulation. Prepare substrate and install new 60-mill, mechanically fastened roofing membrane over existing roof deck with new insulation and flashing. All associated accessories necessary to obtain a water tight insulation. Total square footage replacement is approximately 25,500 sq. ft. The estimated magnitude of this contract is beteen $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The solicitation package will be available on or about October 12, 1995 with an anticipated bid opening on or about November 14, 1995.
