The Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, CA. is soliciting for a source to provide parenting sessions for the inmates. Services shall be performed on a part-time basis. During the contract period there will be two (2) thirteen week cycles. One (1) session per week will be held in the Education Department on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm for thirteen (13) weeks. Family sessions will be held in the institution's visiting room weekly at the conclusion of parenting classes. The sessions will be approximately two (2) hours in length and may be held in the morning or evening as determined by the institution. Up to five (5) family visiting sessions. In addition, two (2) four-week release-readiness parenting seminars two (2) hours in length, will be he held during the contract period for inmates who are within 18 months of their release date. Contract shall be from 18 October 1995, or date of award if later through 30 September 1996. Contractor will be responsible for providing two (2) interns to assist with the program.
