This notice is being made to generate interest in a tentative requirement for the provision of continuous operational maintenance service coverage of the automated storage/retrieval system located at the Defense Depot Norfolk, VA. The general scope of this procurement is as follows: the work to be accomplished consists of preventative maintenance, emergency service and corrective maintenance of automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS) installed in Bldg. W143 at DDNV, Norfolk - the contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, tools/test equipment and supervision required to perform operational maintenance on the system. At this time, it is anticipated that the solicitation will provide for an initial 12-month performance period with the option for the Government to extend services for four optional 12-month periods. Keep in mind that this is merely a general scope for informational purposes only and that the actual specifications will provided in the solicitation package. This procurement is being set aside 100% for small business.
