This procurement consists of Indefinite Delivery Contract for services, non-personal, for Data Collection to support the design of the aeration and washdown systems unique to the McCook and Thornton reservoirs within the Chicago District, US Army Corps of Engineers, Sol No DACW23-96-R-0001 due 10/30/95. It is anticipated one contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement for a period of one year with two one year option periods. Work will be accomplished by issuance of individual delivery orders under an Indefinite Delivery Contract with a maximum amount of $750,000.00 for the initial contract with the two option years at a maximum amount of $750,000.00 each. Non-personal services are required for use in the design of the aeration and washdown systems unique to the McCook and Thornton reservoirs. The work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, chemical analyses and transportation to perform all work in strict accordance with the requirements and schedules specified in the individual work order. Non-personal services will include sampling the combined sewage from dropshaft points in the sewer system, performing chemical analyses, conducting diffuser and washdown tests, developing test designs and preparing reports to support the design and evaluation of the aeration and washdown systems. The Chicago District intends to sole source the contract with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for the subject services. The SIC code for this solicitation is 8711.
