The ruggedized, transportable 80486DX2/66MHZ computers to be acquired are Maxwell Systems, Inc. Model MS3010. The salient characteristics of the computers include 8 MB of RAM, an internal 3 1/2'' 540 MB IDE Hard Disk Drive, an internal 3 1/2'' 1.44 MB Floppy Disk Drive, a splashproof keyboard, shadow BIOS, an universal input 200 watt A/C power supply, a 10.4'' 640 by 480 active matrix color LCD display and MS Dos version 6.2. Additionally, the computers must be capable of withstanding harsh salt water environments and read and update the US Navy owned software. Only new equipment will be considered for this acquisition. Delivery is ninety (90) days after date of award to Orlando, Florida. Written request for the solicitation should contain the Contractor Establishment Code and the size of the requesting business.
