to participate in the Federal supply schedule for instruments and
laboratory equipment. Solicitation numberfcgs-Z3-90-0020-3-N, will be
issued on October 10, 1995, and open on November 16, 1995 at 3:30 PM
local time. Significant changes have been made. If you have any

Federal supply schedule FSC 66, part II, section N; contract period
June 1, 1996 or date of award, whichever is later) through may 31,
2001. Commodities are general categories) analyzers, synthesizers,
chromatographs and counters. FSC classes 6630, 6635, 6640. A copy of
the Solicitation will be mailed to all current contractors and those
companies requesting a copy of Solicitation numberfcgs-W5-95-0044-B-N
as synopsised in the may 12, August 8 and August 28, 1995 issues of the
CBD. All others wishing to receive a copy of the Solicitation number
FCGS-Z3-90-0020-3-N should contact Sandy Brooks. Request via facsimile
will be accepted on 703-305-5537. The option to extend the term of the
contract incorporates significant changes to the Solicitation. Anyoe
considering submission of an offer is advised to review the
Solicitation thoroughly. Resultant contracts will be for a five year
contract with annuyal open seasonperiods. It is an indefinite-delivery
indefinite quanity (idiq) contract with aguaranteed minimum order of
$100 for the term of the contract. Use of any contract awarded under
this Solicitation will be on a non-mandatory basis. The industrial
funding Fee (iff) clause will apply. The submission of identical items
will be considered when the offer is equal to or lower than the
current contract price. Current contracts will be allowed to submit
offers for identical items during this open Season only. Receipt of
offers on identical items will result in competitive negotiations with
new offers and the current contractor who has the item on contract.
Any awards made for identical items will be valid for the term of the
contract. Any offer for identical items received after this open Season
will be automatically rejected. Clausei-FSS-125, orders exceeding the
maimum order (Aug 1995) will apply. This clause provides instructions
for placing orderrs over the maximum order (Mo) as defined in the
delivery order limitations clause (52.216-19). To assist the customer
agencies to determine when they should seek a price decrease, a level
called the maximum order (Mo) will be established under each contract.
When an agency order exceeds the established Mo amount, It is
recommended that the agency contact the vendor for a reduced price. The
vendors will not be obligated to accept these orders in accordance with
FAR 52.216-19. The scope of the contract contract clause I-FSS-102-D
will apply. New orderding procedures permit agencies to place orders
under $2500 with any schedule vendor, with NO further review or
documentation. Fors orders over $2500 a simplified best value
determination is required. All other relevant terms and conditions are
