19 -- INDUSTRY COMMENTS ON GOVERNMENT DEVELOPED PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION FOR A NEW 25 PERSON CAPACITY INFLATABLE LIFE RAFT SOL N00167- POC Contract Douglas Smith 301-227-1640; C.O. Faith Ferris 301-227-3602. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has developed a performance specification for a new 25 person capacity inflatable life raft. Since this specification is based on Non-Developmental Item (NDI) philosophy, there is significant dependence on commercial manufacturing practices. This specification will replace the current Mark 6 life raft specification for future acquisitions. This synopsis is being issued to notify industry that the specification is available for infustry comment, All comments must be received by 31 Oct 95.
