The work includes preventative maintenance inspection and service, load testing and operational certification for various cranes and weight handling equipment. The contract will also include emergency repair services. The equipment includes mobile cranes, bridge cranes, chainfalls, jib cranes, gantry cranes, and other weight handling equipment. The equipment is located in Bethesda, Maryland; Annapolis, Maryland; Memphis, Tennessee; and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Only those firms capable of fulfilling the work requirements at the four geographically dispersed locations should respond. The type of contract will be a combination firm-fixed price and indefinite quantity. Term of the contract will be one year with options not to exceed a total duration of 5 years.
