The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with EMC2 Corporation for a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance of two boxes of EMC Random Array of Independent Disk (RAID) Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD). The two boxes contain 40 gigabytes of storage each. The contract to be awarded will be for the period from date of contract award through September 30, 1996, with four additional one-year option periods. Maintenance services will be provided at the FBI's facilities in Washington, D. C., and/or Clarksburg, West Virginia. Award of a contract is contingent upon appropriation of Fiscal Year 1996 funding.
