GSA intends to modify existing Mas contracts to include an additional 5 year option period (4/1/97 through 3/31/2002). This 5 year option will be exercised one time only. When the option to extend the term of the contract is exercised all extended contracts will becomeindefinite-delivery-indefinite quantity contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum and will incorporate a new price reduction and maximum order clause. This change will creat a new and additional ''open Season'' Solicitation for consideration of additional offers for standard Commercial items under FSC group 79, part V-sorbents Marine and non-Marine, to be advertised at a later date in the CBD, O/a April 1996.
