The Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu, CA plans to award a firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, contract for two separate types of high power airborne RF Amplifiers. The first requirement (CLIN 0001) for amplifiers covering the 2.0 to 4.0 GHz frequency is as follows: Initial quantity of 5 (including one first article unit and first article testing) with IDIQ production quantities not to exceed a total of 150 units. The second requirement (CLIN 0002) for amplifiers covering the 5.0 to 11.0 GHz frequency is as follows: Initial quantity of 5 (including one first article unit and first article testing), with IDIQ production quantities not to exceed a total of 40 units. Both types of amplifiers must meet stringent performance requirements in areas of, but not limited to, harmonic suppression, spectral purity, and broadband thermal noise power. In addition, these amplifiers shall function in a severe airborne environment. Both types of amplifiers shall utilize a common power supply design. Amplifier tubes and power supplies shall be field interchangeable between types with no adjustments required. Amplifiers shall meet rigorous form factor, weight and power consumption requirements. The initial order for CLIN 0001 shall consist of 1 first article unit and testing and 4 production units, OR if first article is waived, 5 production units, with additional units NOT TO EXCEED 150 each, subject to applicable indefinite quantity clauses. The initial order for CLIN 0002 shall consist of 1 first article unit and testing and 4 production units, OR if first article is waived, 5 each production units, with additional units NOT TO EXCEED 40 each, subject to applicable indefinite quantity clauses. Delivery shall be FOB destination. Delivery of first article units and testing shall commmence 300 days after date of contract award. The 4 productions units for CLINs 0001 and 0002 are to be delivered at a minimum rate of 1 per month commencing within 180 days after approval of first article unit or delivery of 5 each at a minimum rate of 2 ach per month within 180 days after contract. IDIQ production units for CLIN 0001 (not to exceed 150) shall be delivered at a minimum rate of 5 each per month commencing within 180 days after issuance of the delivery order, or 30 days after delivery of the last unit on a prior delivery order. IDIQ production units for CLIN 0002 (not to exceed 40) shall be delivered at a minimum rate of 5 each per month commencing within 180 days after issuance of the delivery order, or 30 days after delivery or the last unit on a prior delivery order.
