39 -- MATERIAL HANDLING SOL 7FXI-E5-95-3904-3 DUE 123095 POC Sheila Brannan, Contract Specialist, 817/334-8421 Solicitation NO. 7FXI-E5-95-3904-B originally synopsized March 22, 1995, and modified July 6, 1995, (now 7FXI-E5-95-3904-3) is modified to extend the issue date to on or about November 15, 1995, and to incorporate clausei-FSS-164-B, option to extend the term of the contract. All contracts under this multiple award schedule Solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract. When the option to extend the term of the contract is exercised all extended contracts will become indefinite-deliveryindefinite-quantity contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum of the option period. Open Season solicitations will be issued annually during the remainder of this contract period (7-1-96, 7-1-97, 7-1-98, 7-1-99). I-FSS-125, requirements exceeding the maximum order and related clauses which implement the new maximum order provisions are incorported. To assist the customer agencies to determine when they should seek a price decrease a level called a maximum order will be established under each contract. When an agency order exceeds this amount, It is recommended that the agency contact the vendor for a reduced price. The vendors will not be obligated to accept these orders in accordance with FAR 52.216-19.
