Sources Sought-This acquisition is for a broad range of maintenance repair and minor construction work located at Elmendorf AFB, AK. The contract will be an indefinite quantity type contract, and will list a wide variety of individual tasks during the contract period. Delivery orders will be issued to complete each construction task, and will vary in size and scope, with values ranging from $2,000 to $200,000 per delivery order, with a maximum cumulative amount of $10,000,000 per year. Performance period will be for one year, with two, one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Jobs will include, but not limited to such trades as carpentry, minor road repair, roofing, excavation, interior and exterior electric, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. The RFP is tentatively scheduled to be issued on 30 Jan 96. This acquisition will be open to both Large and Small businesses, and falls under the auspices of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
