F -- LIFTING AND PROCESSING OF TREE SEEDLINGS SOL R6-10-96-01. Due 111395. Contact Point, Contracting, 503/858-2228 or 503/858-2229. The purpose and intent of this solicitation is to secure the services for tree lifting and processing approximately 14 million seedlings at the J Herbert Stone Nursery, Rogue River National Forest. Lifting includes hand pulling of tree seedlings from seedling beds and packing the seedlings in transportation tubs. Seedling processing includes grading, pruning, counting, packaging of seedlings, and sweeping of cull seedlings into cull chutes. An Oregon Farm/Forest Labor Contractor's License and a Migrant Seasonal Agricultural Workers Protection Act Registration Number are required for this project. Issue o/a October 10, 1995.
