C -- DESIGN OF VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND ASEROSPACE GROUND EQUIPMENT COMPLEX POC: LTC Bruce Carpenter, Contracting Officer, (314) 526-9627. This agency desires a firm, fixed-price contract for architect/engineer services for Type A (Investigation), with options for Type B (Design) and Type C (Construction Supervision and Inspection), to furnish all professional services, labor, material, and travel required for the complete design and preparation of project documents necessary to construct a new 19,900 SF Vehicle Maintenance and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Facility. Requirements include a properly sized and configured facility to accommodate Vehicle Maintenance Bays, Refueler Maintenance Bay, Paint Bay, Closed Loop Washrack, Vehicle Parking Facility and and Aerospace Ground Equipment Maintenance Bays, Tool Room, Training and Administrative areas. The estimated performance periods for this project is 75 days for Type A services and 120 days for Type B services. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Firms will be rated as either low, medium or high using selection criteria in the following descending order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfaction performance of required services, to include architecture and civil, electrical, mechanical, structural and environmental engineers; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish work in required time; (4) Past performance; (5) Location; (6) Volume of work previously awarded by DOD within the past twelve months.
