McBride, 334/953/3514 The 42 CONS/LGCS, Maxwell AFB, AL, has a requirement for the purchase and installation of a horizontal lifeline system to be used in connection with the maintenance and cleaning of C-130 aircraft. The general specifications of the lifeline system consists of, but is not limited to, the following: approximately 170 feet and 97 feet of permacable, a minimum of 4 stainless steel permagrips, a minimum of 4 18-inch jaw and jaw turnbuckles, a minimum of 6 stainless steel snatch block pulleys, a minimum of 6 installation carabiners, a minimum of 6 25-feet self-retracting lifelines, a minimum of 6 LSF full body harnesses, a minimum of 1 center support (complete), and training. System described is Research and Trading Corporation, or EQUAL. System shall comply with applicable OSHA and Air Force Safety Standards.
