C -- ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICE FOR MULTI-DISCIPLINE ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING REPAIR/ALTERATION PROJECTS, LEAGUE ISLAND NAVAL COM PLX, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19112 SOL N62472-95-D-4300 DUE 101095 POC Contact Point, mike fatale, (215)897-6492, Contracting Officer, Sal Lo'Cicero, (215)897-6492 Scope: Architectural Engineering Services are required to prepare drawings, specifications and cost estimates for vareity of Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical alteration and repair projects. These projects include: designs for repairs, alteraations and modernization of administrative and industrial buildings, including upgrading of office areas, computer rooms, laboratories, barracks, dining areas, recreational facilities, machine shops, and auxillary support buildings for the League Island Naval Complex. Included, but not limited to, are proposed projects for mechanical, heating, ventilation, plumbing, lighting and electrical distribution systems. In addition repair and maintenance projects may require provision of facilities for handicap personnel, including designs for environmental remedial work and asbestos and lead paint related work. This fixed price Indefinite Quantity Architectural Engineering Service contract includes a one year government option for the same basic performance skills. All projects will include post construction contract award for review of shop drawings, catalog submittals, consultation during construction work, and preparation of as built-drawings. Significant Evaluation Factors: 1. Specialized experience of the firm in the type of work required. 2. Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the required time limits. 3. Professional qualifications of staff to be assigned to this project inlcuding those of any consultants. 4. Past experience, if any, of the firm with respect to performance on Department of Defense Contracts. 5. Present workload. 6. Location of the firm on the general geographical areas of the projects provided that there is an appropriate number of qualified firms therein for consideration. 7. Volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the Department of Defense. Contract No: N62472-95-D-4300 (this number must be cited on SF 255). A/E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit completed Standard Forms 254 and 255, US Government Architect-Engineer Qualifications, to the address shown in Number 7. A/E firms responding to this announcement by 24 Sep 95 will be considered, and firms having a current SF-254 on file with this office can also be considered. Respondents may supplement this proposal with graphic and photographic materials which best demonstrate design capabilities of the engineering team proposed to design multi-discipline alteration and repair projects for industrial and administrative facilities. This is not a request for proposal. Estimated Start Date: Dec 95 Estimated Completion Date: Dec 97. SUBJECT TO NECESSARY CHANGES, THE TOTAL FEE THAT MAY BE PAID UNDER THIS CONTRACT WILL NOT EXCEED $400,000.00 PER YEAR.
