Z -- PIPELINE ANOMALIES REPAIR SOL KAL-95-123. Contact Karen Laurent, Buyer, 504/734-4375. Inspection and Repair to two (2) locations on a 36'' diameter Crude Oil pipeline in support of the Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) Program. The effort will involve the use of subcontractor-furnished labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision, and transportation required to locate, excavate and inspect two (2) locations, approximately twenty (20) linear feet per location. Repairs shall be based on the results of the inspection. The general work area is located just south of Donaldsonville, Louisiana off Louisiana State Highway 943. The work to be performed is best classified under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 1629, (Heavy Construction, Except Dredging, Not Elsewhere Classified). The magnitude of this requirement is anticipated to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A solicitation is expected to be issued on or about the mid October, 1995. Potential bidders/offerors must provide written confirmation of their interest in this task.
