Sources responding to the October publication have been retained on the bidders' list and will be issued the bid package approximately 12 Sep 95. Projected bid opening date is 12 Oct 95, 2:00 PM. Work consists of providing all labor, material and equipment required to renovate an existing hangar and to construct a new building adjacent to the hangar. The hangar renovation work will include removal of existing concrete slabs, placement of new concrete slabs, new bi-folding hangar doors, new metal exterior wall system, new exit doors and associated electrical, fire protection and HVAC systems. The new building will include concrete foundations and floor slabs, pre-engineered building envelope, metal stud and gypsum board wall systems, suspended acoustical ceiling systems, carpet and tile floor finishes, security doors and hardware, and associated electrical, fire protection and HVAC systems. Estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business.
