The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Trenton, New Jersey requires a request for quotation for services to conduct 86 load carrying tests using the Wedeven Associates machine and the Ryder Simulation Test Method. Test are to be conducted on 9310 steel balls. Surface finish at: Ball Ra = 10, Disc Ra = 6. Conditions: ambient cell temp. rolling velocity at 200 in/sec., sliding velocity at 400 in/sec. This procurement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Wedeven Associates, Inc. of Edgemont, PA under the statutory authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements).
