NEMEC Contracting Officer at (401) 841-2442 X296 FAX: (401) 841-4820 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) intends to issue a solicitation on a competitive basis for the acquisition of 1 (one) Acoustic Coppler Current Profiler (ADCP). The specifications are as follows: 1. Real time direct reading ADCP) capable of reading a minimum of 124 currents (2 meter cell) at differing depths in fresh water. Maximum depth capability of 150 meters. 2. Operating frequency 300 KHz +/-100 KHz 3. Accuracy +/- 0.2 % or +/- 0.2 %cm/ s whichever is greater. 4. Precision: 4cm/s in 2 meter cell size. 5. Velocity range +/- 10m/s 6. Deployment: Bottom moored at 150m or vessel mounted. 7. Power: 20-60 VDC or 110/220 VAC 60 Hz, 80 W max. 8. Controller: PC/AT compatible Multimedia Pentium 200 MHz or greater 9. Data Communication: RS422 OR RS232 @ 300- 115,200 Baud 10. Cell size: Variable from 1 to 8 meters. 11. Minimum of 160 meter cable length to interface between the ADCP and topside interface. 12. Internal compass, tilt (pitch and roll) sensors and transducer mounted temperature sensor. 13.
