DAKF57) Work shall include but is not limited to the following: Remove
and reinstall removable section of roof and chain link fence if needed;
125 HP electric motor; RT angle gear drive; 340 +- feet 10'' column,
Sch 30 stl; 340 +- feet 2.5'' shaft tube Sch 80; 340 +- feet 1.5''
shaft, C1045 per spec; TV inspect the complete depth of the casing
before cleaning and repairing; Remove sand from well; Provide all
materials, labor and equipment to sonic clean and chemical clean the
complete depth of the casing; TV inspect the complete depth of the
casing after cleaning; Develop well in stages at 300, 500, 700, 900,
1100 and 1300 gpm for a minimum of two hours at each stage; Replace
shaft retainer and bearing; Replace the existing pump; Replace the
existing 10'' stainless steel strainer; Replace existing 1/4'' air
pipe, 360 +- feet and gauge. Completion time is 60 calendar days.
Estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. The
proposed procurement listed here is being considered for 100 percent
set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested
SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of
this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the
contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform and a
positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received
from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted
without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested
from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Small
disadvantaged business concern means a small business concern that is
at least 51 percent unconditionally owned by one or more individuals
who are both socially and economically disadvantaged, or a publicly
owned business that has at least 51 percent of its stock
unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically
disadvantaged individuas and that has its management and daily business
controlled by one or more such individuals. This term also means a
small business concern that is at least 51 percent unconditionally
owned by an economically disadvantaged Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian
Organization, or publicly owned business that has at least 51 percent
of its stock unconditionally owned by one of these entities, that has
its management and daily business controlled by members of an
economically disadvantaged Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian
Organization, and that meets the requirements of 13 CFR 124. Socially
disadvantaged means individuals who have been subjected to racial or
ethnic prejudice or cultural bias because of their identity as a member
of a group without regard to their qualities as individuals.
Economically disadvantaged means socially disadvantaged individuals
whose ability to compete in the free enterprise system is impaired due
to diminished opportunities to obtain capital and credit as compared
to others in the same line of business who are not socially
disadvantaged. Concern means any business entity organized for profit
with a place of business located in the United States, including, but
not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture,
association, or cooperative. The size standard is any concern
including its affiliates with an average annual sales or receipts for
its preceeding three fiscal years not in excess of $7 million. SIC
