Thompson, 304/480-6463 The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire outplacement support services for the period, October 1, 1995 through March 1, 1996 for Public Debt employees who are affected by a consolidation. The number of affected employees will vary, but will not be more than 150. This number will decline as employees either accept new employment opportunities or are otherwise removed from Public Debt employment rosters. The contractor shall provide copies of current specific Federal, state, local government and general private sector vacancy information and job opportunities that employees are qualified. The contractor shall provide for a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 24 hours per week of job development work. The information shall be filed in a Public Debt facility located a 300 13th Street, SW, Washington, DC. The information shall be updated at a minimum of twice a week and a maximum of three times a week. Outdated information shall be taken from the file within 4 days of the vacancy closing. A written request for quotations (RFQ) will be issued five days after publication of this synopsis. Requests for the RFQ should be submitted in writing to the above address, or they may be faxed to 304-480-6632.
