Engineer, (908)527-5439. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics
Command (CECOM) is conducting a Market Survey Sources Sought of the
Advanced QUICKLOOK (AQL). This Market Survey by the US Army is to
determine the existence of sources for the acquisition of field
engineering support, depot repair and systems upgrade of advanced
QUICKLOOK equipment. This effort requires the contractor to demonstrate
expertise in the test and repair of AQL equipment currently fielded and
to be fielded in GAURDRAIL/Common Sensor Systems 1,2 and 4. Experience
in field engineering support of AQL Systems, GUARDRAIL/Common Sensor
System Integration and Test and Upgrade/Modification of the equipment.
This effort also, requires potential Contractors to demonstrate
expertise in the integration test and modification of sophisticated
airborne electronics intelligence equipment that meets the Army's
requirements. Potential contractors must have a thorough knowledge of
microwave, receivers, high speed digital processing and computer
assisted testing. Only US firms interested in this acquisition should
send name, address, and brief information/literature to: US Army CECOM,
C4IEW Acquisition Center, ATTN: AMSEL-ACCC-C-CQ, Alonzo Wright/William
Applegate, within two weeks of this publication in the CBD. This
information should include, but not be limited to background experience
with advanced QUICKLOOK, technical and repair expertise, rework
capabilities, field service support capability and other resources
necessary to accomplish the above tasks within the required timeframes.
All responses should reference synopsis number. This synopsis is to
identify potential sources only, and does not constitute an RFP or an
IFB. This is not to be construed as a committment by the Government to
purchase this equipment. Respondents will neither be notified of the
result of the survey nor be provided an evaluation of information
