Taylor, Contracting Officer 210/671-1722 This acquisition is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). In accordance with SAP, this procurement is reserved for small business manufacturers or small business distributors of small business manufacturers. This acquisition is for quantity two (2) multi-refrigerant CFC reclamation machines. Brand name or equal, citing Perfect Cycle Corporation model HP1200. Delivery required within forty-five (45) days of award. Equipment that only recovers refrigerant is not acceptable. Reclaimed refrigerant must meet ARI 700-88 standards for new refrigerant. Machines must be EPA approved and capable of evacuating down to a minimum of fifteen (15) inches of mercury. Must be capable of reclaiming refrigerants R12, R22, R500, R502 and R134a. Set-up and testing required. A minimum of four (4) hours of training to be provided at time of delivery. Government will provide refrigerant for testing and training purposes. Must include with quote independent testing results that indicate units are ARI and EPA certified. Test reports must indicate that equipment meets ARI 700-88 standards. Delivery FOB destination to Lackland Air Force Base, Texas 78236. Price quotes must be sent in writing or faxed to the POC indicated above. Quotes required no later than 15 Sep 95. Award will be made on or about 20 Sep 95. Basis for award will be compliance with technical requirements and price. All quotes must include manufacturer's name and part number of items being offered.
