AL U -- PARENTING PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR Sol IFB 157-0026. Due 101095. POC

Prison Camp, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery AL proposes to make a
single award, on a firm-fixed-price, requirements basis for the
provision of services is two (2) three-hour sessions per day, and it is
anticipated that eight (8) sessions per week will be utilized, if
available fudning permits. The initial contract period is from date of
award through September 30, 1996 with four successive 12-month option
renewal periods, running from October 1 through September 30 of the
respective years. Successful contractor must provide verifiable
evidence of a Bachelors of Science/Bachelors of Arts Degree in
Counseling, Psychology or a similar social science concentration. A
minimum of one (1) year experience in conducting group sessions on
parenting, family counseling or child development is required.
Contractual duties will consist of teaching a parenting education
course emphasizing the development and maintenance of positive
relationships between inmates, their spouses or custodial parents and
their children. For more specific information detailing the
responsibilities of this contractual position, refer to Section C of
the solicitation package. There is some flexibility as to days and
hours on which performance is required; however, the preferred schedule
is from 8:15 am to 11:15 pm and 12:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through
Thursday, exclusive of Federal Holidays. Detailed security
investigative procedures will be required as outlined in Section H of
the solicitation package and will include, but not be limited to, a
urinalysis, fingerprinting, NCIC check, and five-year verification of
