investigate the feasibility of detecting, identifying, and tracking
treaty limited items (TLIs) as a means of verifying compliance with
future arms control regimes. Technical monitoring requirements will be
identified, leading to recommentations for modifications to existing
verification technology and the development of new verification
technology. This effort will examine the relationship between the
number of each potential TLI permitted and will investigate the
ease/difficulty of detecting, identifying, and tracking each TLI and
the desirability of designating items as TLIs. Requests for copies of
