Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation
to provide for overhaul/replacement services for the Waste Fuel Boiler
Ash Conveyor. The waste fuel boiler was manufactured by Consertherm,
Inc. of South Windsor Connecticut in 1984 and 1985. The system is a
variation of a Consertherm model HV-100. The waste fuel boiler is used
to destroy spoilage generated during the printing of currency and
postage stamps. The ash conveyor of the waste fuel boiler is in need of
a complete overhaul. In addition to overhauling the conveyor, a 4'
diameter by 7' long surge tank also needs to be replaced. Per Section
K provision of the solicitation, you must submit past performance data
on similar type jobs that your company has received in the past five
(5) years. This data should include the location, description of the
job, Government point of contact and phone number, dollar value and
date completed. This proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small
business concerns. This solicitation will be issued on or about
September 1, 1995 and bids will be due on or about October 1, 1995. All
requests for a copy of the solicitation must state the company's size
status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Women-Owned). All responsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Agency. See
