A Briefing for Industry (BFI) and tour is scheduled for Kirtland AFB, NM on 19 Sept 95 in Bldg 414, Conference Room 3, 3550 Aberdeen Rd SE. The BFI will be from 0900-1100 hours with a tour of facilities from 1100-1200 hours. Transportation will be provided from Conference Room 3 to the facilities and return. Due to limited seating capacity, BFI attendance is limited to two people per organization excluding subsidiaries, i.e., subsidiaries are considered to be an organization and two people from any subsidiary can attend. A tour of facilities is scheduled at Edwards AFB, CA on 21 Sept 95 from 0900-1200 hours. Interested contractors should meet at the Phillips Laboratory gate at Edwards AFB. Maps will be provided at the BFI. Buses will depart the gate at into groups for tours. A wrap-up session will be held from 1100-1200 hours for the entire group. The briefings/tours will be unclassified. However, the BFI will involve militarily critical technology data, which is controlled under the Export Control Act. Only contractors listed on the Qualified Contractors Access List (QCAL) will be permitted to attend the BFI. Certifications (DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement) may be faxed to the Contracting Office, Attn: Ms Kim Kinifick at (505) 846-7549. The tours at both bases are limited to two persons per organization, excluding subsidiaries. If you have previously submitted a visit request to attend the BFI/tours you need NOT submit another one unless the number of people attending has changed. Otherwise, please submit a visit request or letter of intent to Ms Kim Kinifick, PL/PKSB, at (505) 846-7549 (FAX) by 12 Sept 95 and indicate which people will be attending which sessions.
