The work to be performed under this acquisition requires the materials and equipment to be delivered across a frozen water surface to various construction sites located at Lake Audubon. The work consists of furnishing and constructing or installing island stabilization features which include earthwork, sand backfill, gravel toe protection, riprap windows and revetments, filter fabric and erosion control mats, concrete box breakwaters and seeding. The estimated price range of the work is $250,001 to $500,000. The work is situated near Coleharbor, North Dakota in McLean County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available October 2, 1995. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before October 19, 1995. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for November 2, 1995, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Dakotas Area Office, 304 East Broadway, Bismarck North Dakota. The contract completion time is approximately 3 months. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each.
