Barr, Point of Contact, 601-634-4209 The U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station requires various items of hydroacoustic equipment manufactured by Bio- Sonics, Inc. of 3670 Stone Way, Seattle, WA 98103. These items include a Model ES200 Echosounder, six 420 KH single beam trans- ducers, and associated cable. This equipment must be compatible with the existing BioSonics Hydroacoustic Systems already owned by the Government. BioSonics, Inc. is the only known source for this equipment. In the event no other sources are found, the government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to BioSonics under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) for the proposed equipment.
