McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires 3 months (beginning October 1, 1995) software maintenance for various Mentor Graphics software packages. The requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis from Mentor Graphics, 475 North Martingale Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173 due to proprietary source code of the software; see Note 22. The maintenance shall include periodic software patches, major software revision, and 24 hour telephone support. This maintenance is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). No formal RFQ will be issued. In accordance with SAP, this procurement is reserved for Small Business concerns and all quotes submitted must be from Small Business Manufacturers or Small Business Distributors of Small Business Manufacturers.
