THOMPSON, 708-688-6778 It is the intent of this solicitation to obtain facilities maintenance and repair services for 521 units of military family housing, 11 multi-unit garages and 15 commercial/industrial facility buildings at the Naval Station New York by means of a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity contract. 111 units housing units, 11 multi-unit garages, and 11 facility buildings are located at Mitchel Field, Garden City, New York and 410 Housing Units and 4 Facility Buildings are located at Mitchel Manor, East Meadow, New York. Cost and Technical proposals will be solicited for the subject proposal and the award shall be based on best value to the Government, cost/price and other factors considered. The proposed contract will be for a period of one year with the option to extend one additional year. The option will be exercised at the discretion of the Government if it is determined that exercising it is in the Governments' best interest. The anticipated contract type is a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted.(0227)
