Simpson, (202)273-5237 Provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supplies for the operations and maintenance of the following National Cemeteries covering the period 11/95 through 9/96 (solicitation (IFB)/request for quotations (RFQ) numbers are shown in enclosures immediately after the address for each cemetery): Richmond National Cemetery, 1701 Williamsburg Road, Richmond, VA 23231 (IFB 101(402D3)-4-96; City Point National Cemetery, 10th Ave & Davis Street, Hopewell, VA 23860 (IFB 101(402D3)-5-96);Cold Harbor National Cemetery, Route 156, N Mechanicsville, VA 23111 (RFQ 101(402D3)-1-96); Seven Pines National Cemetery, 400 East Williamsburg Road, Sandstone, VA 23150 (RFQ 101(403D3)-2-96);Glendale National Cemetery, 8301 Willis Church Road, Richmond, VA 23231 (RFQ 101(402D3)-3-96); Fort Harrison National Cemetery, 8620 Varina Road, Richmond, VA 23231 (RFQ 101(402D3)-4-96). Work will include the following: Interment of both casketed and cremated remains (interment work will be on a as required basis and will include opening, closing and dressing gravesite); Headstone maintenance, to include: initial installation, replacement, raising, realigning and cleaning; Turf maintenance, to include: fertilization, core aerating, dethatching, liming, overseeding, weed control program, mowing, trimming and edging; Snow removal from all walkways and driveways. Request IFB's and RFQ's in writing from the issuing office, or by FAX, Telephone (202) 273-6790. Specify cemetery name and IFB or RFQ number. IFB's and RFQ's to be issued on or about 9/5/95. A pre-bid conference will be conducted at Richmond National Cemetery for all six National Cemeteries covered by this notice at 9:00 A.M., local time, Tuesday, September 19, 1995.
