Specialist, (202) 219-8706. The work involves the installation of a new
HVAC system in a 12,000 square foot three-story dormitory building that
is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The work
includes demolition of the existing heating system and interior repairs
associated with the demolition and replacement of the systems. The new
system includes installation of new piping and duct work, fan coil
units, rooftop and condenser units, miscellaneous patch work, and the
installation of new finishes and painting. In addition, renovation work
to the shower and toilet rooms in an adjacent dormitory is also a part
of this contract. This modernization work includes adding showers,
ceramic tile ceilings, and toilet partitions. Construction time is
scheduled for 168 calendar days to substantial completion. The
estimated cost range for construction is between $250,000 to $500,000.
Plans and Specifications will be available on September 1, 1995, only
from the office of Potter and Cox Architects, 462 South Fourth Avenue,
Suite 800, Meidinger Tower, Louisville, Kentucky 40202. Contact Ms.

this project. Collect calls WILL NOT be accepted. It is emphasized that
requests for plans and specifications be directed to the A/E firm
listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must
be in writing. Plans and specifications are available for pick-up at
the above-mentioned A/E's office. Requests will be answered on a
first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. After the
supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether
payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed
the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges.
A pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for September 13, 1995, at 10:00
A.M. local time. Bid opening date is October 5, 1995, at 2:00 P.M.
local time. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition. The
SIC Code is 1711. The Size Standard is $7.0 million. See Numbered
