Moore, (301) 713-3481 The NOAA/SAO plans to issue a full-and-open competitive RFP to industry in early 09/95 for ''Systems Engineering and Acquisition Support Services'' in support of the DOC/NOAA/SAO/AWIPS Acquisition. Proposal response time is expected to be 30 days, with award 90-120 days thereafter. Required support services include: systems and applicat.; hardw. engineer.; config. mgmt; test data gener.; GIS mapping; cost analysis; prgm planning & sched.; and perform. mesuremt analysis. Predominant SIC codes are 7379 and 4813. Qualified industry respondents should be able to demonstrate a track record of performance supporting similarly complex, cost & schedule-driven systems. This is a 100% professional services requirement to acquire sr. systems engin./analysts with expertise in communications, hardware, software, and systems integration. Proficiency in major systems acquisition program management, including but not limited to earned-value analyses, trade-off analyses, change control management, and scientific disciplines such as meteorology, is desired.
