The Oakland Operations Office (OAK) is soliciting proposals for ADP and telecommunications (telcom) technical support services for OAK and remote sites. The services will support a customer base of approximately 400 users. The period of performance will be for one year with two option years. ADP services include the analysis, design, development and documentation of new minicomputer and personal computer software programs, and the maintenance and enhancement of existing minicomputer and personal computer software programs; installation, implementation and maintenance of commercial software; writing and editing of programmer manuals; providing of personal computer software and hardware instruction at both personal computer and minicomputer levels. Also includes comprehensive management and daily administration of a heterogeneous ethernet 10BaseT Novel Local Area Network (LAN) and wide area network infrastructure utilizing frame relay circuits and dial up modem via communications equipment that connects remote sites to the OAK LAN. Telecom services include technical support for telecommunications engineering and security, maintenance of telecom equipment, preparation of technical reports, and radio frequency spectrum management. Required services also include office automation support and support and operation of the Computer Operations Center.
