D -- ANNUAL PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE (PHS) PROGRAM OPERATION INFORMATION SYS SOL 213-95-0033 DUE 092595 POC Rosanna Browning tel: 301/443-6550/Diane Coger, 443-6550, 5-95 PKLN DHHS/PHS Division of Acquisition Management has a requirement to acquire maintenance and support services for Micronetics Massachusetts General Hospital Multi-Utility (MUMPS) software for a one-year base period with a one-year option period. The specific services to be acquired are maintenance for MSM-Unix-64, MSM-Unix-32, MSM-PC/Plus-4, and MSM-PC/Net-4; license enhancement; and training. This requirement has been certified, justified, and approved in accordance with FIRMR 201-39.601 and FAR 6.303 and 6.304. The Government intends to contract with Micronetics Design Corporation, the only known source capable of satisfying this requirement. Other concerns capable of providing the required services are invited to submit capability statements documenting their ability to do so. If no affirmative responses are received within 45 days from the date of publication of this synopsis, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the acquisition. No solicitation document is available. Therefore, requests for such document will not be considered affirmative responses. Responses must refer to requirement number 213-95-0033 and be addressed to the attention of Diane Coger. See Note 22.(0223)
