Floodlight Set, Trailer Mounted, Commercial. The floodlight set shall be a self contained unit and consist, basically, of a two-wheeled trailer, power source connection cables, telescoping tower, portable masts, and eight flood lights (four 1000 and four 500 (w) units). The floodlights and all electrical equipment shall be stored in a weatherproof storage compartment. The floodlight set will be required to provide continuous lighting for up to 12 hours during each day of operation. The prime mover for towing the floodlight set is the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), M998 Series. The floodlight shall be capable of being towed on highways, ground roads and unimproved cross-country terrain. Except where modified by the Limited Purchase Description LP/P.DES 5-94B dtd 95 May 26, it is intended that the equipment and its component parts shall be a regular commercial product of the manufacturer or supplier. A three year requirements type contract is anticipated with 20 ea for year 1, 20 ea for year 2 and 20 ea for year 3. Destination will be F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Herlong, CA.
