Hayden, (717)228-5939 Contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, tools and any other items necessary to provide complete interior renovation as shown on the drawings and specifications for Project No. 595-082. All utility systems will be demolished and rebuilt into new construction as well as all interior partitions and other features that are existing that are not of a structural nature. The building subsystems will include electrical lights and a system of conduits for telephone as well as a system of conduits and wires to connect the computer system; new heating and cooling systems, fire detection system, sprinkler system, modular kitchen unit, nurse call, building emergency management as well as other standard architectural interior finishes. All construction is to be completed at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Project is subject to the availability of funding. The cost range for this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The completion time is 300 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Requests for solicitation document must be made in writing accompanied with a refundable bid deposit check/money order in the amount of $100.00 made payable to Department of Veterans Affairs. Solicitation documents are limited to 25 copies and will be issued to the first 25 contractors requesting the solicitation document in writing accompanied with the bid deposit check/money order on/about September 1, 1995. Standard Industrial Classification Code 1542, size standard $17.0 million applies. A pre-bid conference will be conducted on September 26 at 10 a.m. local time, Building 1, room 247. A site visit will be conducted immediately following the Pre-Bid Conference. This will be the only site visit available to interested bidders. (0220)
