Scope of work includes but is not limited to preparing complete design development drawings for renovation of ward 8E including nurse station, treatment area, offices, isolation rooms and environmental/cosmetic upgrade of patient rooms and corridors; design to include room layout upgrades to improve patient privacy including semi-private baths; provide services of C.I.H. to survey area and determine whether asbestos will be found during construction; prepare detailed cost estimate including any impact cost; field survey existing space to conform w/existing as-built drawings; incorporate all VA criteria and standards that apply to this project into drawings; provide all necessary phasing requirements in design to avoid interruption to operation of Medical Center; phasing shall be coordinated with VA Engineers; A/E will have access to all VA original as-built drawings. Cost range for design is $25,000 to $100,000.
