The work includes the furnishing of all necessary labor, material and equipment to remove existing built-up roofing, flashings, and insulation at isolated locations and the installation of new insulation at isolated locations and the installation of new insulation, built-up roofing, bituminous and sheet metal flashings including base flashing overlays and base flashing repairs, parapet cap, expansion joint curbs, counter flashings, pourable sealer pockets, roof drain flashing, overflow scupper, the removal/replacement of sealant and removal of plywood HVAC enclosures with replacement new metal cladding and metal roofing enclosures and incidental related work. Estimated cost $25,000 to $100,000. Performance period is 75 calendar days. Work is located at Naval Training Center, Orange County, Florida. Plans and Specifications available o/a 23 AUG 1995. There is no charge for plans and specifications. Requests for solicitation must be received NLT 08SEPT95. This procurement is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should indicate interest NO LATER THAN 23AUG95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an UNRESTRICTED basis.
