DAILEY, (334)241-8152 Desire to obtain digital coverages of contours for GIS that are created from mylars with just contours on them. This would involve scanning the mylar contours, registering each quad using internal tics, vectorizing the arcs, making all arcs continuous on each quad, edgematching between quads, snapping all arcs to quad boundaries with no overshoots or undershoots present upon completion, and attribute all arcs with elevation values. In addition, providing an addition coverage as above but with elevation values added on as annotation wherever elevation values appear on the mylars. All digital files must be able to be imported directly into Arc Info 7.0 or greater on a Sun workstation and into Arcview 2 in a PC environment without any further manipulation. This project is for the National Forests in Alabama (six districts) and is set aside for small business/labor surplus area concerns. (0216)
