The work to be performed under this solicitation is drilling a 24-inch diameter drainage well to approximately 210-foot depth; furnishing and installing steel casing, concrete pad, and steel base plate for well head; and furnishing and installing backfill and crushed rock for well site yard. The drilling site is located approximately 5.5 miles east of Yuma in Section 32, T. 8 S., R. 22 W., Gila and Salt River Meridian (G&SRM), which is in the South Gila Valley, Yuma County, Arizona. Access to site is via existing dirt farm road located north of Interstate 8 frontage road (north) or from Highway 95, both accessible off Avenue 3E due east two (2.5) miles between Avenue 5E and 6E. Highway 95 transits into City of Yuma's 16th Street roadway. The estimated cost range of this project is $100,001 to $250,000. The performance time for completion of this project is 90 calendar days. This project is a Labor Surplus Area Set-Aside. The presolicitation notice (SF 1417) for this project is currently available. The estimated issuance date of solicitation is August 11, 1995. The estimated date for receipt of bids is September 11, 1995.
