The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority plans to construct an Airfield Lighting Computer System (ALCS) and fiber optic communication loop. The ALCS will be pre-qualified as required in Contract Documents Section GP-20. The scope of work consists generally of, but is not limited to: a Base Bid for the ALCS and the installation of ducts and fiber optic cable for communications within the premises of the Airfield; Alternate No. 1 - north airfield taxiway low-visibility in-pavement lighting improvements; Alternate No. 2 - runway guard lights on Runway 18R-36L including fixtures, bases, ducts, lighting circuits and regulators; Alternate No. 3 - regulators manufactured by Hevi-Duty division of General Siganl Corp all as shown on the drawings and/or in the specifications.
