Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: This project replaces the existing condenser cooling water pumps in the Fort Wainwright Central Heating and Power Plant (CHPP). The new pumps shall be variable speed motor drive pumps with enough heat removal capacity to handle the generator rated load plus 20% overload to 100% condensing. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available from which payment for contract purposes can be made.
