The Environmental Protection Agency requires a contractor to provide technical support for the education and outreach group. Support will include, but will not be limited to 1) developing courses in a variety of enviromental subjects with emphasis in air pollution control and compliance, 2) performing training needs evaluation and assessment studies, 3) arranging and providing a variety of delivery mechanism including televised broadcasts, 4) providing workshops, seminars and conferences, 5) designing, developing, and producing graphics, slides, overheads, and other materials/documents associated with training media, and other materials/documents associated with training media, and 6) developing a comprehensive curriculum. The contract will contain a base period of twelve months and two twelve month option periods. The total level of effort for the three year period is 30,000 hours. The government anticipates awarding a cost-plus-fixed-fee type contract. The RFP is expected to be released around August 30, 1995. This is an 8(a) competitive. The SIC code for this requirement is 8744 with a size standard of $5 million. Firms requesting a copy of the RFP must state in the request whether they have current 8(a) status.
